The ministry model remains largely the same internationally: men and women in prison complete the free Bible study curriculum, and Instructors correct student lessons, returning each one with a letter of encouragement.In developing countries, deplorable prison conditions present added challenges. Severe overcrowding, limited food rations, poor sanitation and unjust treatment lead to malnutrition, disease and desperation.
